Chuck Anderson of NOPATTERN

One of today’s modern designers who has really changed the landscape of advertising is Chuck Anderson. By perfecting a unique style of “neon doodling” (obviously he has far more talent than doodling, or else great doodlers of the world such as Larry David would have equaled his accomplishments in design), he has managed to work with such companies as Zune, Burton, Mountain Dew, Reebok, ESPN and many others. Its likely that you too have seen some of his more popular work, such as on the Fall Out Boy “Infinity on High” or Lupe Fiasco “Food and Liquor” album cover.
Just recently Chuck created some pretty fresh bottle designs for Mountain Dew. The opportunity came via Mountain Dews Green Label Art artist program, which you too can enter into as well. The bottles went on sale earlier in the year in most gas stations, Walgreens, CVS’ and other drugstores.
Another dope project from Chuck was a Burton snowboarding jacket created specially for Kevin Pearce in the X-Games this year. It was the talk of the town, and gained a lot of media exposure for Kevin, as well as Chuck.
Just recently, Chuck completed an ad in collaboration with the Nitro Group UK. It is a cross marketing campaign between Puma and Ducati, which was featured in many Footlocker stores across the UK.
