Dave Hill Photography

Keeping along the lines of our previous photographers, the Imps of Marge and Fletch, PDD brings to you Dave Hill. The common theme between these photographers? Their extroadinary use of high dynamic range imaging. While I myself do not know what specific methods and techniques each use, their photos say it all:
High dynamic range imaging (HDRI) is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of exposures (the range of values between light and dark areas) than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDRI is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to shadows.
The result? Real life pictures that almost look fake due to their vividness across the shadows and highlights.
Dave has an impressive list of clientele, ranging from 50 Cent to Jon Heder. For more info and photos, be sure to check him out on his website.
