The Lord knows I love to hate things. I should edit that comment, and say I love hating things sports related, and not the greater and smaller things of the world. Sports related?
I love sports, have played them since childhood, bought a large TV to watch them, order every package available on DirectTV. It’s so bad that my wife and I have discussed buying cricket matches on a slow day.
But boy do I love to hate certain teams. Here they are listed in my hate book:

Duke Basketball- Fuck Laettner and that whack shot in ’91.  note: I’m a huge Kentucky Fan.

New York Yankees- Who’s more obnoxious? The team or the recent rash of “I’ve always been a fan” folks? Addendum: Recent rash of Red Sox fans too!

Mexico’s National Soccer Team. I’m a staunch supporter of the US team and we own them now, heritage be damned!

Dallas Cowboys- Growing up in Texas, the mania is nauseating.

Manchester United- English Soccer- It makes a league so boring when you know those with the cash will buy all the amazing players. Luckily the hard financial times may destroy them.

Florida Gators Athletics- It started with the basketball team for being dominant, and has spread to the football team for having a Jesus lovin’ QB. Plus, my friends Papa Bear and Spanky love them. It’s more fun, then a real hatred.

Tennessee Titans. Again because Terence loves them so much.
